Dr. Rojas Marcos
As President of the Health and Hospital Corporation of New York, Dr. Rojas Marcosī responsibility areas included the 16 state hospitals and the ambulatory centres of the entire New York City. Rojas Marcos is member of the New York Medicine Academy and of the Public Health American Association. He has been High Commissioner of the New York Mental Health Services from 1992 to 1995, and Director of the Municipal Psychiatric Hospital System from 1981 to 1992.
Dr. Rojas Marcos has published numerous papers on Psychiatry and Public Health in different US Science magazines. In Spanish, he is best-selling author, amongst others, of "The City and its Challenges", "The Broken Couple" and "Seeds of Violence", for which he was awarded the Espasa Essay Award, "Our Happyness" and "Beyond 9/11", all by Espasa Calpe Publishing House.
Dr. Luis Rojas Dr. Luis Rojas Marcos lives in New York since 1968. He is Bachelor in Medicine by the University of Seville and PhD by the Universities of Bilbao and New York. In the latter city he finally specialized in psychiatry.
