Professionals and SMEs with very few users can gain access by going to www.thdigital.com and entering a user name and password.

For companies or institutions that require a larger number of licenses, Thinking Heads Digital can be included in their intranets or extranets, adapting the whole service to their corporate identity, using their colors, logos, website styles etc. End users at those companies or institutions will be able to browse without feeling as if they are stepping out of their organization’s web environment.

 

What devices can I use to view Thinking Heads Digital content?

Thinking Heads Digital content can be viewed on desktop computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones (both Android and iOS).

What are the technical requirements for accessing Thinking Heads Digital content on my computer?

Virtually all computers or mobile devices allow access. The platform design has been optimized for the following browser versions: Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Firefox 2 or higher, Google Chrome and Safari 3 or higher. The service has also been optimized for Flash Player 9.0.115.0 or higher.

How can I find the content I am most interested in?

You can search by subject areas (channels), speakers and key words (using the search feature). There is also an option to search for the latest micro-conferences. In addition, you will find suggested micro-conference itineraries on top issues.

 

There are already other training resources on my company’s intranet. How can Thinking Heads Digital be included?

It can be included to operate in one of two ways. Whichever you choose, Thinking Heads Digital will take care of all the work involved in including the service:

  • A Web 2.0 environment with micro-conferences that are selected based on your project’s aims, customized to give it the corporate look and feel. This environment is included on an intranet or extranet, depending on whether the scope of the project is internal or external.
  • Embedding videos in web environments for training that are already in place. This is the service that allows you to choose specific micro-conferences for enhancing training content and/or itineraries already in place in your organization’s web environments.

If I subscribe to the service and include it on my intranet, I don’t want users to have to keep entering user names and passwords, etc. Can that be avoided?

Yes. When we refer to inclusion that means full inclusion. In order to do this a single sign- on is used. In terms of the technical process for setting this up, we only require some codes that identify each user. Using those, the procedure that enables the system to directly recognize whether the person who is trying to access the service is authorized to do so is implemented. If they are, they will be able to access the content without needing to re-enter a user name or password.

Is there a way of monitoring employee access?

Yes, there is. The service provides viewing statistics and data on the number of micro-conferences watched, the breakdown in relation to individual users, the number of users who have accessed the service, the most-watched video clips and topics, the most popular speakers, user ratings of video clips based on online voting, etc.
