Beatriz Magro is the co-founder of Komvida, an innovative kombucha company from Fregenal de la Sierra (Extremadura) that has become the leading company in the category in Spain. In just four years, together with her partner Nuria and a team of 86% women, she has developed a benchmark brand that is present in more than 7,000 points of sale in large supermarkets and franchise chains.
A tireless adventurer (she traveled around the world alone), Beatriz Magro moves with ease in times of change, always keeping personal enrichment and healthy lifestyle habits as a priority. She is a believer in entrepreneurship as a way of life. She has been chosen by the Aspen Institute of Spain as one of the 30 most influential young people under 30 and has recently been named an Endeavor Entrepreneur.
As a speaker, Beatriz shares her experiences to conclude that, fundamentally, the world is full of good people. Thanks to what she has learned in her journey and in her entrepreneurship project, Beatriz encourages and empowers her audience to start those projects they have not yet dared to start: "the perfect moment does not exist, so stop waiting for it to take the reins".
Komvida began to take shape in the trip around the world that, for a year, Beatriz narrated in her blog "Millennial On the Road". During that time, Beatriz left behind a stable job to bet on herself, which made her deepen habits such as yoga, meditation or veganism. Therefore, Komvida is an extension of her life philosophy: kombucha is a probiotic drink with numerous health benefits and made with organic products of the highest quality. From its innovative factory in Extremadura - the only one of its kind in Europe - it is IFS certified, the highest standard of quality and food safety. Beatriz Magro has been awarded by the Extremadura Regional Business Confederation AJE, which has recognized her with the Entrepreneur Woman Award and the Young Junior Entrepreneur Award.
Before starting these projects that changed the direction of her life, Beatriz studied Translation and Interpreting and worked in this field in the United States, Germany and Spain.
