Who is Anna Rosling Rönnlund?
Anna Rosling Rönnlund is, together with her father-in-law Hans Rosling and her husband Ola Rosling, the co-founder of The Gapminder Foundation. Gapminder's mission is to fight devastating ignorance through a worldview based on facts that everyone can understand.

Anna is currently Vice President and Director of Design and User Experience and board member of Gapminder.
In 2016 Anna Rosling Rönnlund founded Dollar Street, the largest systematic image bank in the world, which uses photos as data to show how people at different income levels really live, beyond country stereotypes.
Previously, at Gapminder, Anna collaborated on the development of new free educational material.
In addition, Anna Rosling Rönnlund designed the user interface of the famous animated bubble chart tool called Trendalyzer, used by millions of students worldwide to understand global development trends. The tool was acquired by Google and Anna worked at Google in Mountain View, CA as a Senior Usability Designer from 2007 to 2010. At Google, Anna improved public data search results, developed public data exploration tools, and created a moving bubble-graph tool in Google Spreadsheets.
Anna holds a master’s degree in Sociology and a bachelor's degree in Photography.
Publications and collaborations
Together with Ola and Hans, Anna wrote the popular book Factfulness, launched in April 2018, in which they provide statistical evidence to show that the economic and social reality of the world is much better than we think.
