José María Alonso Cebián, popularly known as Chema Alonso, is a hacker and expert in Spanish cybersecurity and He is the CDO (Chief Data Officer) of Telefónica since 2016, where he is responsible for the global security and data of the company.
In 1999 he started to work as a security consultant in Computing 64, a computer security company where he finally was the manager. In 2009 he got Master degree for Information and Security at the European University of Madrid, and in 2005 and until 2016 the multinational Microsoft awarded him the prestigious Microsoft MVP award.In the area of corporate security. He has combined his work with the publication of several books, as well as with periodic participation in media such as Las Mañanas at COPE radio station and laSexta Broadcast Channel on cybersecurity.
