Who is David Albritton?
David Albritton is a renowned senior business leader, dynamic speaker and award-winning communications expert who spent 10 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy before transitioning into a variety of senior corporate leadership roles across the technology, automotive, aerospace & defense, retail, and nonprofit sectors. He is the Founder and Chief Executive of Nineteen88 Strategies, LLC, which specializes in a range of executive coaching, leadership development and organizational management services.

During his impressive corporate career, David began as an entry-level PR Specialist at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in 1998, but rose to the rank of Chief Communicaitons Officer of Exelis, Inc. in just 13 years. However, his career continued to grow beyond his own expectations when he became the President of General Motors Defense in 2018, giving him the distinction as one of very few corporate PR executives to transition into the role of a Chief Executive of a business division in a Fortune 25 company.
Along his journey, he developed a strong reputation as an inspirational mentor, trainer and coach.
He is a 1988 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and also earned an M.S. in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School. He has also completed executive education courses at Harvard University, Stanford University, and the Wharton School of Business.
