Héctor Venegas was born in Santiago de Chile in 1971 and lives now in Cologne, Germany. He is the Managing Director and Owner of engaging meetings Ltd., a planning and consulting company in the field of Meeting Design. Héctor studied Law at the University of Cologne and graduated as a Master of Laws. He has worked in different leading positions in well renowned companies within the meetings and events industry for more than 20 years, such as Steamworks Ltd. And Meeting Professionals International. He is well established and involved in the meetings and events industry and served as the President of the MPI Germany Chapter for several years.
He is now serving as the Immediate Past President on the board of the MPI Germany Chapter and in the European Advisory
Council led by MPI Global. Héctor has profound knowledge in interactive event technology and is an expert in the field of active involvement of participants. He is Meeting Designer, Meetovator, Moderator, Facilitator and Speaker. He has lived in more than 7 countries and has a good understanding of the participants needs beyond the language and culture barriers.
As a speaker, Héctor Venegas uses his extensive professional experience in the sector of event organization to disclose the key tools for a good and effective meeting design planning. In addition, he specializes in the active participation of big audiences through the use of their collective intelligence.
