EVP and CEO of Sage Spain, for the regions of Spain and Portugal, Luis Pardo has also been managing director of Customer Services for Mid-Market Europe at this multinational tech company that is a leader in business management software, has offices in 24 countries and 6 million customers across the world.
He is an expert in digitalization of businesses and is highly knowledgeable about the realities faced by self-employed workers and SMEs in Spain, having come from a family of small business owners and through working on a daily basis with this group.
As a speaker, he offers his theoretical knowledge along with the experience he has of managing the analogue to digital transformation of businesses, a process of change that he has led on numerous occasions in a variety of industries, including food, finance, logistics and multimedia.
He is able to explain both the complex processes that affect the global economy and the day to day problems encountered by SMEs in a simple and accessible way.
Luis has been head of Marketing at Copeca, an investment account manager at the real property consultancy Gesfime and operations manager at Replitec. In 2001 he joined Sage, where he held several senior positions until taking up the post of CEO of Sage Spain.
He obtained a Business Administration degree summa cum laude from the European University of Barcelona, has a master’s in General Management from the IESE business school, a master’s in Business Administration from the EADA business school in Barcelona, and a master’s in Business Management from the Barcelona School of Management.
At present, Luis is a board member of several companies, including various start-ups. He is also a member of a number of professional networks.
