Maks Giordano has been involved in innovative digital projects since the early nineties. The award-winning Creative Strategist has worked with iconic brands, such as Red Bull, wallpaper Magazine, Condé Nast, Lego, H&M, Daimler, Sony-Europe, BMW, Vitra and many more.
He held executive positions at ID Media AG and MetaDesign AG and was on the forefront of social communities in the late nineties. Maks created mobile services and apps in early 2000, long before the iPhone was launched. His passion for mobile lead to the creation of "iconmobile“, one of the very first mobile-centric agencies worldwide. Maks was in charge of one of the first mobile AD servers worldwide and was nominated 'Entrepreneur of the Year‘ by Ernst&Young in 2006. As a co-founder, he helped to establish the company internationally, launched the Japanese, Australian, UK and US activities and grew the company from 4 Founders to over 150 Employees. After the exit to WPP, the world’s largest agency network, Maks was the "Head of Innovation“ at ProSieben.Sat1, one of the largest media companies in Europe. As a member of the management board, he was in charge of mobile, games and innovation for the network.
Later Maks helped the SF based video Platform „kyte" to establish in Europe and worked on innovative video projects with the likes of LadyGaga, 50cent, MTV etc.
He started the innovation consultancy ''kreait'' in 2011 and helped companies like Lufthansa, Daimler, UEFA and many others in their digital transformation.
As a moderator and curator, Maks was in charge of over a dozen ''FlyingLab'' flying conferences for Lufthansa, where he interviewed e.g. Ironman winner and world-record holder Jan Frodeno, Superstar DJ Felix Jähn, IBM Fellow John Cohn and many others in 33k feet altitude while flying.
Maks is a frequent keynote speaker for corporates and on international conferences.
He is known for his visually-rich storytelling on stage, leveraging the power of videos and photography to underline his key messages. Maks is often invited to open up corporate executive offsites and inspire their management with thought-provoking trends and developments. His key areas of expertise are around digital innovation, exponential developments in technology, future of mobility, innovation in retail and digital health.
He published books about mobile business and usability and teaches 'Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management‘ as an Associate Professor. Maks is holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen.
