Peter Draper is a 35+ year veteran of the sports and entertainment Marketing Industry. He cut his teeth in basketball in the early 70s as an amateur promoter before becoming the English Basketball Association's National League Administrator, where he remained for 10 years, with responsibility for the League's commercial and media development. As part of that role he also supported the sport's Olympic program through the British & Irish Basketball Federation, was an active member of the Regional Sports Council and the Central Council for Physical Recreation (CCPR).

In 1986 Peter Draper joined Umbro Sportswear where he became European Marketing Director, serving on the company's European, UK and International boards for 11 years. In that time the brand grew ten-fold establishing strong brand credentials and sales in North and South America, Asia and Europe and becoming a brand contender in the football arena to sports brand heavyweights Adidas, Nike and Puma.

Following his time with Umbro, Peter Draper joined Manchester United PLC in 1999 as their first Group Marketing Director with responsibility for brand development and sponsorship, where he worked successfully with such blue-chip brands as Budweiser, Pepsi, Sun Microsystems, Sharp Electronics, British Airways and Barclaycard. He was also a member of Manchester United Merchandising Ltd.’s board of Directors up until the successful long-term licensing of that business to Nike.

Peter left the club in 2006 to establish his own business since when he has worked with major rights holders and blue-chip brands in the areas of Sponsorship, Marketing Communications, Social Media and Customer and Fan Engagement. Clients have included such diverse organizations as The NBA, J.K. Rowling, for whom he established and sold the commercial rights to "Pottermore", the digital home of Harry Potter, The National Trust, Cancer Research UK, The Premier League, Smirnoff Vodka, La Liga, the British Olympic Association, Guinness, Lacoste Footwear, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Sony, Audi and many others.

More recently Peter Draper has undertaken longer-term engagements with the world's most successful sports and entertainment agency, Creative Artists Agency, Valencia Club de Futbol, where he was Commercial and Marketing Director for nearly 3 years and Virtuosos Holding Ltd, a Hungarian based multi-media classical music business where he has been serving as the brand's Vice President of International Development based in Budapest.
